Today, with our final week approaching and this journey’s end in view, the 16 of us began exploring our individual ideas for our personal vision projects which will be presented at the final gallery next Friday. After brainstorming with Katie and Bayeté, we were all faced with emotions, some with excitement and some with nervousness, as we realized we must buckle down and create a project to represent our four weeks here: a project of our own. Some are struggling with artist block and some wondering if their vision can be achieved, while some are thriving at the challenge with a clear destination in sight. I believe everyone is going to produce a great body of work that encompasses all that we have learned, and that we will produce an excellent gallery for our peers. This next week is definitely going to be challenging for the 16 of us, but together we will continue to help one another and support one another, as we have done for the last three weeks.
